It’s time. The day has come, and we will see who gets selected with the first 32 picks of the 2024 NFL Draft. We all know who is going number one to the Chicago Bears. After that, chaos can ensue. Here are my predictions for the first round, in my last NFL Mock Draft of 2024.

NOTES FROM MY NFL MOCK DRAFT

Forget about the hype with JJ McCarthy going in the top three. Daniels is the safe pick for the Commanders at two, and the Patriots get the quarterback of the future in Maye despite a shaky offensive core that he will have to work with. Chicago not only gets their quarterback of the future but also the leader of the defense of the future in Murphy. After the first three wideouts go back-to-back-to-back, the Jets settle on getting the playmaker Bowers to round up the offense for Aaron Rodgers.

The Vikings and Broncos snatch their quarterbacks of the future in McCarthy and Nix. Penix, unfortunately does fall into the second round, in my opinion. Jacksonville gets their CB1 in Arnold, as other teams like the Colts (DeJean) and Raiders (Mitchell) did as well.

Latu stays close to home, joining the Rams to help replace the pass rush production brought by the retired Aaron Donald.

Tampa Bay gets their Shaq Barrett replacement in Chop Robinson. Buffalo also finds their WR1 in Thomas Jr, and Kansas City does the same with Mitchell.
