Rockies Positive Outlook

The Rockies’ young core of players have gained plenty of national attention. Brenton Doyle, Ezequiel Tovar, and Michael Toglia have done some incredible things this year. Doyle has been one of the Rockies’ best hitters just look at what he did in July. He hit eleven home runs with twenty- seven RBI’s. Toglia is working towards his first twenty-home run season. He has grown into a reliable everyday first baseman. These are the players that the Rockies plan to build around and they give them a good foundation.
The Rockies could be the only team this season with three players hitting over twenty home runs in the same season. They also have a good infield that has been fun to watch this year. Brendan Rodgers has made great strides this season with both his defense at second base and his bat. Veteran players Jake Cave and Jacob Stallings have been great additions for the Rockies. They both play their positions well and contribute hits in key moments.
Pitching Struggles

They need to make a big trade or spend money this offseason to help fill the holes. However, they have some pitchers coming into the minor leagues to build. The rotation is starting to come together with Kyle Freeland leading the way and they have been plagued with some big injuries.
The Colorado Rockies are trying to remain positive even though it has been a tough year. They are looking towards the future and hopefully, address problems in the offseason. There is potential with all the young talent coming up. Stay tuned for MLB news and stories.
