The Masked Singer is down to the final four and now the competition gets real. There were some Final Four highlights and some clues that throw us off. Let’s recap how it all went down and who got unmasked in this special episode.
Final Four Highlights
Rhino
The Rhino gave a good performance of Humble and Kind, filled with a lot of emotion. It is beyond amazing to see him in the Final Four because he was one of the better singers this season. His clues were globes, failures, baby rhino pin, and a trumpet. The judges guessed Barry Zito and Jason Aldean. The clues did make sense for Barry Zito.
The Night Angel
The Night Angel started the show with a bang with her performance of How to Love and proved why she is in the top four. She has a big voice that helped her become a contender even though she does not dance much. Some clues football, soccer, losing a loved one, and a moon pin. since the main guess was Kandi Buress because there are not many other singers that fit the clues.
Front Runners
Turtle
The Turtle came to win with his performance of Jealous by Nick Jonas, the best of the night. He is considered an all-around performer because he has a lot of range in his voice and he can dance. The clue package included a connection to Robin Thicke, a backstreet -sign a ring and photo album. This led the judges to think it could be either Kevin Richardson or Nick Carter from Backstreet Boys. On social media, Jordan Knight from New Kids on the Block was a guess.
Frog
The Frog pulled off a fun rendition of Hip Hop Hooray in his usual high energy. It is kind of amazing to see a hip- hop singer make the finals because it would be the first time on the Masked Singer. His clues were a basketball, electricity, old school hair rollers, and a Mom pin. The judges thought of Chance the Rapper or Bow Wow. It does point more towards Bow Wow based on clues.
The Reveal
The Rhino was revealed as Former MLB San Francisco Giants pitcher Barry Zito. Two of the judges had the right guess, but it was a surprise to many. Zito is a good singer who was able to show off his talent and give more glimpses of his true personality. The Masked Singer Finals are next week so don’t miss out because it will be a fun show.
The Championship will be one of the best the Masked Singer has had with some talented singers. It will be fun to watch who takes home the golden mask trophy. The prediction is that Turtle will win the Masked Singer season three.
