Scouting Notes<\/h2>- Tyree Wilson<\/a> is a massive human being, he is a physical force at the edge.<\/li>\n\n
- Leg drive is very powerful.<\/li>\n\n
- There are tons of instances on tape of unreal reaction time and instincts. Almost as if he can’t possibly be diagnosing that fast, he must be guessing, but then he wouldn’t be right as often.<\/li>\n\n
- Explosive in run defense, can leap and dive and use his enormous wingspan to close gaps.<\/li>\n\n
- Not very bendy, but was able to just bull-rush through the blocker’s outside shoulder consistently instead.<\/li>\n\n
- Has a great arsenal of pass-rush moves and counters, and he sets them up very well.<\/li>\n\n
- Always has a plan, and executes with perfect timing and brute force.<\/li>\n\n
- Relentless motor, never gives up on the play.<\/li>\n\n
- Isn’t always on the field, which begs questions of endurance and durability.<\/li>\n\n
- Wasn’t able to bull-rush as consistently against more pro-level blockers.<\/li><\/ul>
Short Summary<\/h2>Tyree Wilson jumps off the screen when watching his film. He is MASSIVE, and it’s shocking that his coaches hardly ever bumped him inside to the interior. This is a testament to his athleticism and pass-rush dominance in space, despite his size.<\/p>
While Tyree Wilson may not garner much hype from scouts and is boringly locked into the back end of the Top 10, I think he deserves much more attention.
A big, physically dominating edge rusher with great agility and pass-rush moves. He is arguably the best run defender in this entire draft, possibly even one of the best in recent memory.
There is very little to be concerned about with Tyree Wilson, and as a result, I find myself baffled by his exclusion from the consensus Top 10 on Big Boards. He is easily a Top 10 talent on my board and is in the Will Anderson<\/a> Jr. tier of elite blue-chip talents.<\/p>

- Percentage numbers<\/strong> in the Player Info and Combine Stats sections – This refers to the percentile that number belongs to among all players at his position, going back nearly a decade.<\/li>\n\n
- GP<\/strong> – Games Played<\/li>\n\n
- TFLs<\/strong> – Tackles for Loss<\/li>\n\n
- FF<\/strong> – Forced Fumbles<\/li>\n\n
- Snap%<\/strong> – Percentage of team’s defensive snaps where the player was on the field.<\/li>\n\n
- PR Grade<\/strong> – Pass Rush Grade.<\/li>\n\n
- Missed Tackles and MT%<\/strong> – Missed tackle rate. Percentiles of these stats are inverse; the higher the number, the lower the percentile. Naturally, players with more playing time will rack up higher numbers, even in the rate category.<\/li>\n\n
- IDL Snap%<\/strong> – Percentage of snaps played on the defensive interior (between the tackles).<\/li>\n\n
- EDGE Snap%<\/strong> – Percentage of snaps played on the defensive edge (over or outside the tackle).<\/li>\n\n
- Reaction<\/strong> – Reactionary speed.<\/li><\/ul>
