- Unreal athlete.

- The leanest and meanest 270lbs I’ve ever seen.

- Dominated smaller defenders as a blocker when he got his hands on them.

- Insane power, can throw D-Linemen to the ground without much use of his lower body.

- Great awareness to block multiple players in one play.

- Blocks better than some of the highly regarded O-Linemen in this Draft.

- High-end competitor.

- Not much of a separator, but his natural size already gives him separation from Defensive Backs.

- Still unsure in space, if he learns to be more instinctual he can be a HOF level talent.

- Blocks way too high, defenders can easily slip under him if they are aware. He must lower his pad level.

Short Summary

Darnell Washington is a UNICORN. If you thought Kyle Pitts, was a unicorn, Washington takes that adjective to a whole other level.

In summary, he is massive, insanely powerful, huge, a great blocker, gigantic, a competitor, and humungous. Oh, and did I mention he is a GIANT for his position? Sure, he has some blemishes to clean up in his game, but who doesn’t? He is a lot more polished and ready than he’s given credit for, and pair that up with his unreal physical tools, he is a no-brainer Top 5 prospect for me. His ceiling is as high as it gets, and I can’t imagine how a player like him won’t produce at the next level.
