Lately, there has been rumors going around of a potential reunion between WWE and the best in the world himself CM Punk. Will this reunion actually happen? We don’t know that still remains to be seen. The door is reportedly open for him to come back if he chose to do so. Triple H recently, said the door is open to Punk and the past is exactly that it’s the past. If Punk does indeed return to the WWE though it won’t be as an in ring competitor more than likely he will be working on the new show on Fox Network alongside Renee young and WWE Hall of Famer Booker T himself. That will make for an interesting show having Punk on board with them. If that is indeed the case it’s being reported that it’s already a done deal between the two sides for him to join the WWE again.

What Does this mean for Punk?

For Punk he’s been taking interviews he auditioned for WWE’s new show WWE Backstage on the Fox Network. This show will be exclusively for SmackDown, as it moves from the USA Network to FOX. As already stated Renee and Booker T have already been confirmed as the hosts of WWE Backstage. Punk may be set to join them on the set of the new show coming soon. The show is expected to begin in early November on Friday Nights. Could there also be a potential in ring return for punk as well? Never say Never but even if he did it’d probably be just one match more it seems it was always WWE, or bust for punk AEW was never a real possibility those were just rumors. For Punk this move makes since especially money wise as WWE can pay him a lot more than AEW could. Let’s hope he really is back it’s something we as fans have wanted for a long time. Do you have any thoughts on this? Let us know in the comments, do you want to see CM Punk return or no. And why? Feel free to give us your input.

Update: CM Punk has been confirmed for WWE Backstage.
