CP3 has been one of the most talented/reliable/consistent/likable/hard-working/skilled players of our generation, and there is no debate about that. He has been around since 2005 and has been a top-tier point guard ever since. He has been to 11 all-star games but has never been to the NBA Finals. Does he have any chance this year?

Based on the Suns record, I think he does. The Suns have been playing outstanding basketball lately. They are just 1.5 games behind the Jazz for first place in the Western Conference. Devin Booker is a ruthless scorer and could go down as one of the greats. Let’s not forget he dropped 70 whole points on the C’s head way back in 2017. He scored 51 of those points in the second half.

First overall pick, DeAndre Ayton is a perfect big man for Chris Paul. He can get up and throw down oops with ease. They are a very well put together team and play well together.

Of course, it would have to be a run like no other with teams like The Nets, Lakers, 76ers already established. CP3 has much more motive than most veterans in the league, considering A ring is the only thing he does not have.

CP3 winning a ring would be like all of us winning a ring. I don’t think he has a single hater on or off the court. He has been the President of the Players Association since 2013 and is very clearly respected by the players and coaches. It would truly be like the cherry on top to see him win his first championship towards the end of his career.

So you tell me, will CP3 and the Suns make the 2021 NBA Finals?
