SmackDown comes to us live tonight for the fourth day in a row from inside the Scotia Bank Arena in Toronto, CA!

Roman Reigns vs Buddy Murphy

This one is kind of puzzling. WWE did the angle where he was a suspect but ultimately doesn’t seem to be involved in these freak accidents happening to Roman Reigns. He should be going after Rowan, who seems to be behind the whole thing.

This should be a good match, don’t get me wrong, but I don’t know why we’re seeing it. Rowan is more than likely to be on the show tonight too, so why not have them further their story instead of halting it for a week with a pointless match. If anything, after Rowan’s beat down of Murphy at SummerSlam, Reigns & Murphy should be joining forces.

Kevin Owens & Shane McMahon

Owens defeated Shane McMahon clean in the middle of the ring at SummerSlam. Owens keeps his job and Shane… goes back to power? There was no stipulation for McMahon to follow after this match so we’re back at square one.

Shane is still in charge, so things probably won’t change. He’ll be on SmackDown Live tonight and keep this rivalry with KO going. Sooner or later (probably later) Shane has to take a break from this character, or WWE all together. He’s diluting the product weekly when fans would like to see one of the dozens of wrestlers that haven’t been seen for weeks finally get a chance to do anything!

WWE knows Owens is one of, if not the hottest baby face in the company now. Shane is the perfect heel for him, but it’s run it’s course.

Next!

Randy Orton & Kofi Kingston

At SummerSlam, Kofi Kingston was disqualified after using a steel chair on Orton during their match. This will no doubt keep their rivalry going, and that’s fine with me. The two have had great promo battles and a long, real history that can make this story relatable.

Kofi needs to ultimately come out on top and defeat Orton clean, to legitimize his reign even more. He’s defeated anyone and everyone in his path in 2019 and doesn’t seem to be slowing down anytime soon.
