Marshall +5.5 at Florida Atlantic
The Owls are led by Lane Kiffin, who was once one of the hottest names in college football. This is a weird game for me because I think both of these teams are underrated. FAU is 4-2 this year with both one loss agianst Ohio State and the the other against UCF. Most teams in the country are losing both of those games. The only problem is all four of their wins are pretty garbage wins. Marshall is in a pretty similar spot. They are 4-2 with loses to Cincinnati and Boise State. I personally think Marshall is a slightly better team. These teams both give up 148 rushing yards a game 59th and 60th in the country respectively. I think that leans this games in Marshall’s favor. They’re the 32nd best rushing team in the country. Look for QB Isaiah Green and RB Brenden Knox to control this game on the ground for the Thundering Herd.

Georgia Tech +18 at Miami
I’m going to keep this one simple Georgia Tech stinks. Miami isn’t good but Georgia Tech is difficult to watch and they’re one of the bottom ten teams in the country. I’m going to bet against them on principle until they start making them four touchdown underdogs.

Toledo -2.5 at Ball State
I know Toledo lost to an awful Bowling Green team last week but they also have beaten BYU and I think they were on the way to beating Kentucky until Mitch Guadagni got hurt. Ball State is actually better than I thought they were going to be. But they’re still a below average football team. Toldeo is not going to lose to an inferior opponent two weeks in a row.

TCU -3.5 at Kansas State
I think this is a wrong team favored game. I would make this line Kansas State -3.5. TCU has played two good teams this year SMU and Iowa State. They’ve lost both and gave up more than forty in eqch game. Kansas State beat Mississippi State on the road easily the best win for either of these programs. Skylar Thompson is a veteran quarterback who knows how to make plays and Manhattan, Kansas is one of the hardest places to win in college football.

South Florida +14 at Navy
To be honest the service schoolss are always hard for me to judge. My ‘talent’ rankings have a hard time with them because they don’t recruit very well and always play at a higher level than they should. South Florida started off the year about as bad you can. Losing 49-0 against Wisconsin and then losing to Georgia Tech, disgusting. I like that USF made a switch to Freshman QB Jordan McCloud, a dual threat player. Give me the atheletes in this one, I guess.
South Florida +14 -110
Duke +3.5 at Virginia
I just don’t trust this Duke team for some reason. Quentin Harris is one of the best dual threat QB’s in the college football, but so is Bryce Perkins. Virginia has a really good defense. The only problem with that is all world corner Bryce Hall is out for the season. But I still think Virginia has enough to be a top 30 defense in the country without him.

Oregon -2.5 at Washington
This is one of the best games in college football this weekend. Honestly if this was a night game in Seattle I probably wouldn’t have bet it. Normally I try not to bet against home dogs with the better quarterback. But Oregon is the best team in the Pac 12 and by a pretty big margin. Also, there isn’t a huge difference in quarterback play Justin Herbert and Jacob Eason are my two favorite draft eligible quarterback prospects this year.
The player to watch in this one is tight end Jacob Breeland for Oregon. He’s got 405 and 6 TD’s I think he finds the end zone in a Oregon winner.

ECU+33 at UCF
I honestly think this spread is just insane. I know ECU is not good but this isn’t 2017 National Champion Golden Knights. UCF is an average AAC team and ECU is slightly below average. Give me ECU all day in a three touchdown game.

Air Force -3 at Hawaii
I don’t even consider this gambling. This is the craziest line of the week. I’m a simple man I see Hawaii on the island as an underdog I bet it. Its an automatic winner.
