Race one is in the books of the Belly Up Throw Down series and it did not disappoint! Sponsored by our good friend Jimbo from Stay Tuned Sports, the race was clean for the most part all night unless you account for all the pit road casualties! The green flag waved a great majority and strategy came into play as most of these teams worked together to power one another into the top ten!

For close to 70 laps and caution free the teams laid back and let the race come to them! Not much changed in the top 5 through out the race as they cruised through with minimal contact! After a few pits and some speeding penalties, the race started to break off into three different packs! Some seemed to drop to the middle and play a strategy game while others remained content on getting the half way bonus! But as expected when money is on the line and teams are working together at Dega, their has to be a big one right?

After the dust settled and the drivers that made it out alive, Tate Lightle from APEX Racing took the checkered flag on the last lap without ever leading one! Keeping his team in the hunt after one race. The over all score board is shown below with one week in the books of the Belly Up Throw Down Series!
