They have some all-stars in Charlie Blackmon and Kris Bryant who will hit in the middle of the order. Bryant will mostly play at first base and Blackmon will exclusively be the designated hitter. Colorado has a good defense at most positions which they will work on in spring training.
Last season fans saw Ezequiel Tovar emerge as one of the most consistent rookies. He looks to have a strong spring on both sides of the ball. Brenton Doyle has become one of the best defensive centerfielders even winning a gold glove. Nolan Jones is a star in the making with his power bat and impeccable defense in the outfield. Therefore, the young guys will be on display during spring training because they are fun to watch.

He needs to be more consistent to help them win more games. Austin Gomber is coming off a decent season that was plagued by injury. He is one of the more reliable pitchers in the rotation and does well at Coors Field. Cal Quantrill gives them a veteran innings eater. They are expected to have more depth than, last year which fans will see during their spring training games.
The Bullpen will be what the Rockies work on the most this spring because it is their biggest weakness. They are trying to see who they will be able to use and what kind of depth they have. Therefore they need some of the young pitchers to step up because there are spots up for grabs,
Considering the low expectations, the Colorado Rockies will be an interesting team to watch. They will have plenty of young talent on display this spring. Stay tuned for more interesting MLB news and stories.
