Fantasy Football PPR Running Back Week 4 Rankings are ready to go! This week looks like the hot target on the waiver wire is New York Giants Wayne Gallman. Saquon Barkley is going to miss 4- 8 weeks with a high ankle sprain, and Gallman does not have much behind him to share carries. Do not expect Barkley like numbers but more of a lower RB2 like player.

#1 Running Back this week Christian McCaffrey
Hard to argue every week why McCaffrey should not be on top of the list. Run CMC lit it up again last week against the Cardinals carrying the ball 24 times for 153 yards and a Td! This week the Panthers travel to Houston to take on the Texans. The Texans are ranked 15th against the run only allowing 108 yards a game and 1 touchdown. McCaffrey is the Mahomes of running backs, no matter the opponent he will always fight to be at the top by games end!
Running Back to Watch
James Conner, Steelers vs Bengals
It has been a tough start to the season for James Conner. Conner was going in the late first round to early second in most drafts. In week 2, Conner battled a knee injury and lost his QB in Big Ben. Now is the time to get right! The Steelers host division rival, Cincinnati Bengals in week 4. The Bengals have given up multiple touchdowns to running backs 2 out of the last 3 weeks. They are giving up 168.7 yards on the ground as well. This is a get right matchup for James Conner and the Steelers!
RB Not High On This Week
Aaron Jones, Packers vs Eagles
I am going back to the well for running backs against the Philadelphia Eagles. The Eagles have only allowed 57 yards a game and 1 touchdown. The Eagles defensive issues are against the pass, which i can see Rodgers being greedy and wanting to throw the ball. Jones was out-touched by Jamaal Williams last week and, Jones squeaked out 2 short yardage Td’s. Also, keep an eye on this new shoulder injury that has appeared this week.
