We can’t escape it here in Pittsburgh. From the Hollywood, Florida incidents back to the Raiders and Patriots drama, it has been a black eye over the Black and Gold. Now he’s apologizing. Antonio Brown is drama. That is now his brand. AB shouldn’t stand for anything but absolute bullshit. The sincerity just isn’t there. What can we make of it, and more importantly, where does he go from here in his career?

The dynamic but troubled receiver has seemed to change his ways. In an interview with Pittsburgh radio station 93.7 the Fan, AB had a seemingly heartfelt apology. Seriously, I was moved and wanted to thank the writer from Hallmark. Read the entirety of it. It’s quite the read. He is, and I quote, “Forever grateful and indebted to the Steelers organization, Mr. Rooney, Mike Tomlin, Kevin Colbert, Ben Roethlisberger“. Are you kidding? Does the dustup over twitter with Ben just disappear into the wind? He’s given this city so much, both on and off the field. The baggage doesn’t outweigh this at this point. Yes, he brought in wins over rivals. His headaches also lost us games. Remember him sitting out? The apology seems to have come from thin air. Or has it?

Help Wanted

He needs work. No, I don’t mean practice. I mean money. Somehow he needs to pay for his Bentleys. He leads an extravagant lifestyle.

The apology to the Steelers was written on the wall. What team has put up with the most? All the antics were overlooked in Pittsburgh for his talents. This isn’t the same team now, nor should it revert to that. He is looking for ways back into a starting role. Pittsburgh as a whole needs to forget it. We don’t need the news or the prodigal son act. The Steelers have a new movement, forged by the tough defense and the return of Ben. AB is circling, looking for ways to enter the equation. In this case, A+B doesn’t equal C(championships). Forgive, forget, and let’s move on now.

Good article. Honestly, I think he needs his head examined, I mean that literally. I would not be surprised if he has had one too many concussions.

Ever since Vontaze Burfict, he is ADR (ain’t doing right)
