The first loop of STPR day two has passed. Block’s dominant lead remains, even after losing two stages.
SS9, Joerg 1
The first stage of the day would see no actual stage winner. As every driver got a time of 5:51.4 seconds. This is likely due to a delay between the start of Block and Pastrana.
SS10, Randell 1
Stage 10 would see Travis Pastrana take the win. Pastrana would win the stage three seconds over teammate Brandon Semenuk. Semenuk would beat Block by 0.4 seconds.
SS11, Wilson 1
Stage 11 would see another stage win by Travis Pastrana. Pastrana beat Ken Block by 2.6 seconds. Block would beat Brandon Semenuk by 5.4 seconds.
SS12, Dewey 3
Stage 12 would see the only repeat stage from day one. Block would win the stage to take home his first stage win of the day. Block would beat Pastrana by 1.5 seconds. Semenuk would finish the stage 0.1 seconds behind Pastrana.
End Of Loop One Rundown
Block would remain in the lead. Even with Pastrana winning two of the four stages, Block lost little time on his lead. Tom Williams remains third overall, leading Dave Carapetyan by over two minutes. Carapetyan would finish nearly three minutes ahead of Allen Dobasu, who sits fifth.
End Of Loop One Times
The Return Of Semenuk
Brandon Semenuk returned to STPR after retiring just two stages into day one. The Subaru Motorsports USA team would get Semenuk’s Subaru back up and running at 4 a.m. Although the damage has been done as Semenuk is likely too far out of a top 10 spot let alone a podium spot. Semenuk will primarily use day two to gain experience at STPR, as well as try to gain as many points on the Power stage as possible. Semenuk will enter the second loop 36th overall, 14 minutes behind 35th.
