That’s Not Normal
It’s not uncommon for competitors to face multiple different types of weather during a rally. With the most commonly faced during a rally being rain or fog. One thing that’s uncommon during most rallies is snow, especially during this time of year. As competitors were leaving the morning service to head to SS1 it started to snow. It was expected to be a wet and muddy day for the drivers, but nobody saw snow coming. Luckily the snow didn’t play too much of a factor during the first loop. As it didn’t accumulate too much. Nonetheless, it was still unexpected like many things in rally and could become a problem later on if it continues.
Carapetyan Out
Dave Carapetyan came into LSPR with a chance to win the LN4 Drivers Championship. Unfortunately for Carapetyan, those chances have likely come to an end just two stages in. As a crash on SS2 would force Carapetyan to temporarily retire.
