For immediate Release Elite Racing League Belly Up Sports Cup Series: 2024 marks a familiar but new adventure for Belly Up Sports. Starting January 1st, 2024 Belly Up Sports will be the primary series sponsor for the Elite Racing League Cup Series on the iRacing simulation platform.
The Elite Racing League opened in 2016 as a group of motorsport fans alike racing on a console. In 2019 they made the jump to iRacing, an online racing simulator that has gained tremendous popularity over the last few years. The Elite Racing League has now grown to 4 full time series on the iRacing platform with 30-50 drivers trying to compete for a spot in the field on a weekly basis! Professional sim racers, hobby sim racers and real NASCAR & INDYCAR drivers have all competed in the Elite Racing League.
The Belly up Sports Cup Series will consist of an A Season and a B Season splitting up half the year. The series will race only on Wednesday nights with racing action starting at 8:30. (Full distance races will start earlier – announced at a later time) Each season will consist of 18 points paying races including famed race tracks such as Daytona International Speedway, Indianapolis, Talladega and Darlington!
The Wednesday night Belly Up Sports Cup Series will all be broadcasted live on the Elite Racing Network on Youtube. The Belly Up Sports large family might even be joining the crew for a few races over the course of 2024 as well.
The Elite Racing League President and Founder is Chad Frankenfield, Chad has put almost a decade’s worth of work into ERL and 2024 should culminate that into something great:

Belly Up Sports is no stranger to iRacing. Sponsoring Landon Huffman in the iRacing Invitational Series and winning nonetheless as well as a long standing relationship with ERSCA, the E-Racing Stock Car Association since 2020. ERSCA founder, Johnny Thomas, will be an advisor and promoter linking Belly Up Sports to the Elite Racing League.
Much more exciting info will be announced at a later date! What we all know is that come January 31st at Daytona International Speedway, The ERL Belly Up Sports Cup Series will be racing off in the Daytona 500!
