MLB Surprise Teams 2024

They are playing good baseball and, on the trajectory, win 100 games if they can keep up their pace. The Royals recently swept a division rival while ranking in fourth for runs and second in strikeouts. They are only missing the power bats as they are low in home runs.
The Cleveland Guardians are shocking everyone as they have the best record in the AL. They are playing better than teams like the Houston Astros or New York Yankees who are expected to be contenders. Therefore, the Guardians have scored more runs than expected and have a lockdown bullpen to close out games.
More Surprise Teams

They have recently swept the defending champions, swept the would-be dynasty, and took series from leaders in both leagues. The Mariners and Tigers have played better than expected also as they are winning their share of games against some tough opponents. They are both hitting well, playing good defense and have solid lineups.
Also, the Giants are playing well with a record above .500 and one of the best offenses in MLB. They are tough to strike out and win a lot of series. Also, the Giants and the Rockies play in the tough NL West. All these teams are a part of competitive divisions making their early success impressive.
These teams will be fun to watch the rest of the season as they try to maintain their success. Also, they all could be a part of the trade deadline action and playoff races. Stay tuned for more MLB news and stories.
