The Battle for the NFC Crown

Let’s face it – most of us thought we’d be watching different teams at this stage. But that’s the beauty of the NFL playoffs. First up, we’ve got the 2-seed Philadelphia Eagles taking on the 6-seed Washington Commanders.

The Eagles are 6.5-point favorites but don’t count out the Commanders. They just shocked us all by upsetting the Lions last week.

Kelcey: “While I’m picking the Eagles to win, I’ve got a feeling the Commanders will keep it closer than most people think. Don’t be surprised if this one comes down to the wire.”

DJ: “I think the Eagles are too good everywhere and the last time they played and everyone was healthy, the Eagles won convincingly.”

Kelcey – Commanders cover +6.5, Eagles win

DJ- Eagles cover -6.5

Top Props:

Kelcey: There are tasty +225 odds that AJ Brown and Terry McLaurin will combine for 175+ receiving yards. With both defenses potentially vulnerable to big plays, this could be a goldmine.

DJ: Jalen Hurts Over 29.5 rush yards feels like a lock. Dan Quinn is familiar with Saqaun and he is going to key in on trying to slow him down.

Josh vs Patty for the AFC Crown, AGAIN

Now, let’s turn our attention to what might be the game of the year: the Kansas City Chiefs hosting the Buffalo Bills. This matchup is so tight, the spread is only 2 points in favor of the Chiefs. At this point, you’re essentially picking the winner.

Kelcey: “I’m going out on a limb here and picking the Bills to win outright. Yes, you heard that right. Josh Allen has been playing like an MVP, and I think they’re due for a breakthrough in Arrowhead.”

DJ: The Chiefs have been one of the absolute worst teams at covering all season despite always winning. I’m going to pick the heartbreaker that nobody in the world wants. Chiefs win but somehow it is a 1-point game and the Bills cover.

Kelcey: Bills cover +2 and win outright

DJ: Bills cover +2 but Chiefs win

Top Props:

Kelcey: Here’s a wild one for you. Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes each record 5+ rushing yards in every quarter of the game. The odds? A whopping +5000. It’s a long shot, but these two love to make plays with their legs in big games.

DJ: My pick is going to have thousands of better odds, I’m sticking with ole reliable Travis Kelcey anytime TD at +130. Postseason Travis is a different beast, and he’s closing in on all the postseason-receiving records.
