If the past 48 hours have taught us anything, it’s that the feud between Sasha Banks and Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch is far from over. With no clear winner from their Clash of Champions match, we look to what’s next for these Horsewomen. We now know that Sasha and Becky have a date for Hell in a Cell.
Round One
Their title match at Clash of Champions started out like normal. Each woman getting their blows in with their best offense. When it looked impossible to get the upper hand, Banks got desperate and went for a chair. When Becky ended up with the chair, she inadvertently took out the ref and the showdown went to another level. The ladies took their fight around the ring, into the crowd and back. The match felt like a taste of what’s to come.
The Challenge
On Monday Night Raw, Sasha Banks and her bestie, Smackdown Women’s Champion Bayley, picked up a tag team win against the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Nikki Cross and Alexa Bliss. Just when it seemed that Banks was going to start in on another round of chair shots against Cross, Lynch came down to the ring with a chair of her own. Lynch got the advantage thanks to assistance from her former bestie Charlotte Flair. The segment ended with Banks and Bayley down, but The Boss was not done yet!
Sasha called out The Man once again and challenged her to a rematch at Hell in a Cell. Lynch raised the stakes and stated she would rather face her inside the demonic structure.
WWE made it official! Sasha and Becky have a date for Hell in a Cell! Their reservation is in the books for Sunday, October 6th!
