If you ever had the slightest curiosity about who’s doing wrestling better AEW or WWE, I think, Le Champion, Chris Jericho illustrated exactly who’s producing better content.

This was from last night’s AEW Dynamite. Notice how there isn’t anyone in the crowd, due to the world shutting down. And yet, AEW still is able to put a really good show. On the other hand, WWE is filling their time slots with mostly old PPVs.
I realize that saying that this is the funniest thing of the day is a lofty assertion. But for fuck’s sake, it’s Chris Jericho getting into an argument with Vanguard 1. Matt Hardy showed up at Dynamite last week and let it be known that the Inner Circle has another thing coming. I’m not sure if Le Champion knew that one of the things that was going to be coming was him going off, attempting to recruit and then berating a drone, but when you’re dealing with the Broken one, expect the unexpected.
I will say that that I am a bit surprised that Vanguard 1 passed upon all those mechanical cigars. A more enticing offer, I cannot recall. I have to think that Chris Jericho will have a little somethin-somethin for that drone.
I absolutely love how Jericho is adopting the phrase “you’re a piece of shit” when he really wants to cut someone down. It’s a phrase we’ve all used millions of times to describe something or someone. But when you here it on TV and now, amazingly, a wrestling show, it’s funny every time. Plus, when Chris Jericho says it with that rage of his, it lands every single time.
Naturally, this led to Broken Matt hardy teleporting all over the place.

It’s going to be so much fun watching Jericho and Matt Hardy go back in forth with everything they do. Their in-ring battles can only be upstaged by the ridiculous chemistry they have when it comes to the mic. Who knew just letting very talented performers just be themselves would net such fantastic results?
By the way, here are other times Le Champion, Chris Jericho called people a piece of shit.
