Monday Night Raw comes to us live tonight from the Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, Michigan!

The Man on Raw

Triple H and Stephanie McMahon were in the ring to kick off Raw tonight, promoting the Elimination Chamber ppv. They went over Becky Lynch’s segments with both Steph and Triple H from last week.

Lynch’s music hits and she comes down to the ring to confront the McMahons. Triple H apologizes for saying she fakes an injury last week and tells everyone that in a couple of weeks, Becky will be cleared as well as her suspension being lifted.

Triple H wanted an apology from Lynch for punching Steph and slapping him last week. She refuses and tells them that she doesn’t trust them and that the McMahon’s have been screwing people over for decades.

Lynch cuts a hell of a promo and gets in Steph’s face. Triple H intervenes between them. He says she has until the end of the night to choose between being the Man and throwing everything away.

Becky was shown halfway throughout the show talking to Finn Balor. Balor says for her to wait and bide her time. He says he’s seen many men have pride get the better of them and it better not happen to the Man.

During a match on Raw, they cut to Becky & Ronda backstage. Ronda said if Becky doesn’t apologize, she’s a coward.

Sasha Banks injured going into Elimination Chamber

Sasha Banks was thrown into the barricade during a triple threat tag team match on Raw tonight. She was selling her neck/shoulder.

This will likely be a focal point in her Elimination Chamber match and a good way to excuse Banks & Bayley from not winning on Sunday. Hopefully this ends in Banks & Bayley capturing the tag team titles at Wrestlemania 35.

Six Man Snoozer

A six man tag match between Braun Strowman, Finn Balor and Kurt Angle vs Bobby Lashley, Baron Corbin and Drew McIntrye took place right in the middle of Raw. It went on for what seemed like nearly an hour.

Lashley pinned Balor when Balor’s foot was on the rope, the refs restarted the match and after what seemed like another 20 minutes, Finn Balor pinned Bobby Lashley.

This went on forever and I couldn’t really get into it. The crowd seemed to be though. Hopefully whatever we get between Lashley & Balor this Sunday will be better.

Seth Rollins

Seth Rollins came to the ring to kick off the third hour of Raw. He reminisced about his last year in WWE. It was the year he’s finally felt like Seth Frickin’ Rollins. Seth was on top of the world before he took 6 F5’s by Brock Lesnar and he’s never felt pain like that before. He says he took all that and he’s still here.

Paul Heyman’s familiar voice came through the TV and is here to educate Rollins. He says Rollins believes all men are created equal and that can’t be farther from the truth. Seth may be one of the best performers he’s ever seen but he’s no beast. He’s no Brock Lesnar. Heyman says Seth is on a suicide mission. The architect of his own demise. That’s no prediction, it’s a spoiler.

Seth says Paul doesn’t understand that he doesn’t care. He’s held it hostage for 2 years and he can’t take it anymore. He’ll sacrifice everything and sell his soul to the devil as long as Lesnar doesn’t walk out of Wrestlemania with the Universal title. And that is not a prediction, that’s a spoiler.

Dean Ambrose came out to face off with his rival. He tells Rollins to slay the beast and walks to the time keepers area. An interesting little angle at the end and a very strong segment overall.

The Revival Win the Raw Tag Team Titles

For what seems like the 5th time in 4 weeks, the Revival faced Gable & Roode for the Raw Tag Team Titles. This was a really fun match and AT LONG LAST the Revival have won the Raw Tag Team titles. WWE, you’re abour 2 years late but finally, the Revival are atop the Raw Tag Team division.

I cannot stress this enough, never take the titles off of these men.

Becky Out, Charlotte In

Becky Lynch came down to the ring for the night’s main event segment. Triple H and Steph are out as well and want to know if Lynch is going to apologize. He wants to know what Becky wants and she thinks that they don’t want her anywhere near the main event of Wrestlemania. After everything that happened, Lynch apologized. No one is going to take her dream away from her.

Ronda came down and Vince McMahon quickly followed suit before anything got out of hand. He thinks Becky has a bad attitude and says that he’s the Man, not her. Vince suspends Becky for 60 days, 5 days after Wrestlemania. He says Ronda’s new challenger is Charlotte Flair! Becky’s out and Charlotte’s in! The show closed as Vince raised Charlotte’s hand, proclaiming her the new Raw Women’s champion after Wrestlemania.

What a way to end the show! WWE is must watch for this feud right now. This is the hottest angle they’ve done since Daniel Bryan at Wrestlemania 30.

Overall, this was a decent show. It dragged in certain places but there were some real highlights. The Revival finally got their tag title win, Rollins and Heyman had a great segment and Becky was a highlight throughout the show, especially the swerve in at the end!

Here’s to a great episode of SmackDown Live tomorrow night!
