AEW Dynamite comes to us live inside the Petersen Events Center in Pittsburgh, PA!
Jon Moxley vs PAC
Moxley and PAC had a little bit of animosity towards each other after last week’s implosion. Last week, Moxley and PAC were supposed to team up, but lead to the two turning on each other in the ring.
Moxley drilled PAC with his double-armed DDT, and sewed the seeds to where we are tonight. Expect these two to beat the hell out of each other in any way possible. These are two of the biggest heels in all of AEW, and they’re going to show us just how bad they are.
AEW Tag Tournament Semi-Finals
Both semi-final matches will take place on tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite.
SoCal Uncensored (SCU) take on the Dark Order tonight on AEW Dynamite in the semi-finals of the AEW tag team tournament. The team of Frankie Kazarian and Christopher Daniels looked great in the first round, picking up a victory over Best Friends.
The Dark Order won their match at All Out in August to give them a BYE into the semi-finals of the tournament. While they haven’t had a tournament match yet, they’ve been featured, and have been impressive this past month.
In the other match, Private Party will take on the Lucha Bros. This match has the potential to steal the entire show.
With Private Party coming off the biggest win of their careers, look for the Cinderella story to end here. They’ll tear the house down with the Lucha Bros, but they’ll come up just short this time. This is the Luchas tournament to lose, but Private Party will be cemented as the tag team of the future after tonight.
Young Bucks vs Best Friends
After coming off a huge upset two weeks ago, the Young Bucks look to bounce back against Chuck Taylor and Trent, the Best Friends. Taylor took to Twitter to let the fans know his intentions on tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite.
Chuckie T is fired up for tonight, and looks to get the Best Friends back on the winning path. Both teams have chips on their shoulders and cannot afford another loss to their resume so soon.
Cody Addresses Jericho
With only two weeks until Full Gear, Cody will address the AEW world champion in the middle of the ring tonight.
Jericho has had some help recently, creating the faction now known as the Inner Circle. He’s always got someone to have his back and Cody needs to do the same here.
Cody needs to have some backup ready, or already out there with him when he goes to address Jericho. With two weeks remaining until the match, Cody needs to find some way to gain momentum. Jericho and the Inner Circle have had the upper hand since AEW Dynamite began.
Will that change here? The only way to know is to watch AEW Dynamite tonight on TNT!
