AEW Dynamite comes to us live from inside Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, Florida.

Chris Jericho’s plan
Two weeks ago, Chris Jericho offered Jon Moxley the deal of a lifetime. Moxley received an invitation to join the Inner Circle.
Jericho and Moxley have history dating back to their time in WWE. They were involved in a program together surrounding ‘Mitch’ the potted plant, and featured a pretty cool ‘Ambrose Asylum’ match where Jericho took 69 (no joke) thumbtacks to the back.
Moxley is more than likely not willing to accept this offer, and look for them to use this to set up at date and time for their title bout against each other. Many fans would love to see them draw this rivalry out until the next PPV, which is likely to happen now.
The Elite vs Lucha Bros & PAC
Match of the year already? Probably, until Jan 4 & 5 at Wrestle Kingdom 14.
The Younch Bucks & Kenny Omega square off with the Lucha Bros & PAC on tonight’s New Year’s day edition of AEW Dynamite.
PAC has had Kenny Omega’s number since joining AEW. After attacking Michael Nakazawa two weeks ago, he’s in Omega’s head more than ever. The Young Bucks & Lucha Bros have had the most storied rivalry in AEW’s short history.
The performers in this match have great chemistry together, and it’ll be interesting to see what PAC can do against the Younch Bucks. Also, PAC has always been independent in his character, so we’ll have to see how he works in a tag team setting with a team like Rey Fenix & Pentagon Jr.
MJF appears live on AEW Dynamite
MJF will appear for a promo live in Jacksonville tonight.
Accompanied by Wardlow, MJF will cut a promo, more than likely about Cody. Because Cody has a big match tonight, don’t expect there to be a confrontation between the pair. Expect an amazing promo, though.
Riho defends her AEW Woman’s championship
Tonight on AEW Dynamite, Riho takes on Nyla Rose, Hikaru Shida, & Britt Baker in a fatal four way match for the AEW Woman’s title.
This spot was originally set for Kris Statlander, who defeated Britt Baker two weeks ago to earn the shot. Due to prior commitments, Statlander will be at Joey Ryan’s Bar Wrestling event instead.
The winner of this match will go on to face Statlander for the championship on next week’s episode of AEW Dynamite.
Is it too soon for Riho to drop the belt? Or will AEW go in a new direction as 2020 begins?
Darby Allin vs Cody
Two weeks ago, Allin came to Cody’s aid against the Butcher & the Blade. Allin teamed up with Cody, and in the aftermath, wanted to go one on one with Cody himself.
Back in July at Fyter Fest in Jacksonville, Cody and Allin went to a 30 minute time-limit draw.
Both men want to avenge the blemish on their records, but only one can come out victorious. This is sure to be a great match, and Darby is almost certainly going to do something reckless. These two have amazing chemistry together.
You heard it here first, 2020 is the year for Darby Allin in AEW.
