Happy New Year. I hope everyone had a hell of a night and ended home safe and sound. My New Year was pretty tame but enjoyable. Nobody cares about that. I woke up this morning to find Gronk spiking Lego Steve Harvey and I can’t stop watching it. I don’t think it’s far-fetched to say that this video will be there at the end of the year as video of the year and possibly the decade.
Everything about this is gold Jerry gold. To Gronk wearing the leather helmet, Steve Harvey proclaiming that he, in fact, will not work with Gronk again followed by Gronk fronting all over Steve Harvey while being called mentally imbalanced. My favorite part is at the 32-second mark. Gronk shoots this major Joker-like grin over to Steve as if to say it serves you right to think you’re going to have a pedestrian New Years’ show. The audacity of Steve Harvey to think that Gronk wouldn’t spike Lego Steve Harvey is offensive.
Maybe if Steve Harvey was on Gronk’s level of non-sobriety(like that’s possible) he may have found this a bit funnier. He wasn’t and he hated it. Harvey probably had aspirations to take Lego Steve Harvey home and put it in a nice spot. Instead, he had to see himself get smashed to pieces right in front of him. Kind of a bad omen to start a new decade. For Gronk, this was a perfect way to start his decade. I hope this starts a trend of every New Year where Gronk spikes figurines of people while they’re in the same room.
I hope he fired his agent for setting him up to “work” with Gronk. The only thing that this video needed was for Harvey to tell Gronk that he’ll never work in the town again. Still, this video is priceless and it gives me hope that 2020 could be a really special one.
