Moxley, Jericho weigh in before Revolution
Prior to Revolution this Saturday, Jon Moxley and Chris Jericho will take place in the official weigh in for their upcoming AEW world championship bout.
With the Inner Circle continuing to grow stronger, Moxley needs to watch his back tonight. Several members of the Inner Circle have problems with him and this is their only chance to take it out on him prior to the world championship match.
Mox of course, will be alone out there. No one to have his back or be in his corner as he goes out to weigh in; everyone in Jericho’s.
This would be a great segment to end the show. One man standing tall over the other as the hype reaches a crescendo and looks to be peaked on Saturday. Two of professional wrestling’s biggest stars today going one on one with a major championship belt on the line; it doesn’t get much better than that.
30-minute Iron Man match: PAC vs. Kenny Omega
After falling to PAC last August at All Out, Kenny Omega tied the series up at 1-1 back in November on AEW Dynamite.
PAC vs. Omega III could be settled in only one way: a 30-minute iron man match. PAC has done everything to try and get under Omega’s skin, including kidnapping Michael Nakazawa last month. Since then, Omega has had other tasks at hand, such as focusing on defending his AEW tag team champioship bouts alongside Hangman Page.
That theory could go both ways, because Omega has a big match this weekend against fellow Elite stablemates, the Young Bucks for the championships. Could Omega be focusing too much on besting PAC tonight on AEW Dynamite? Or focusing too much on how to defeat the Bucks this weekend?
This match also has huge implications for the AEW rankings as well. PAC is at #3 currently, and Omega sits behind him at #4. It’s not crazy to say the winner of this match could face the winner of Jericho versus Moxley this weekend.
Omega has a lot on his plate right now, and it isn’t a stretch to predict that he’ll lose both matches this week. Either way, both matches are going to be fast-paced, high stakes bouts. You won’t want to miss either of them.
