What’s Next for the Captain?

Essentially, what’s next for Jonathan Toews is that he looks to get back into game shape over the offseason before the start of training camp. That seems to be the goal for the 33-year old from Winnipeg going into the 2021/22 NHL season. After that, it all comes down to how his body feels before the start of the season. At this point, it comes down to taking it one day at a time. Nonetheless, Chicago Blackhawks can feel enthusiastic knowing that the captain is back with a team that definitely missed him last season. Getting a player of Toew’s caliber back will boost an offense that needed center depth as the season went on.

All in all, it’s good to see Toews back on the ice in Chicago. Furthermore, there is something to look forward to once the puck drops for the 2021/22 season. It’s good to see you back cap, Blackhawks fans missed you.
