Growing up in New England and being 23-years old, Tom Brady has been a constant in my life and many of my friends and family’s lives. One of the earliest memories I have is eating a Patriots-themed cupcake at the Super Bowl party. I don’t remember watching the game or think I was old enough to know what was going on. But I do know there was a magical feeling in the air.

I have never known anything different. From the time I started forming conscious thoughts until now, Tom Brady has been playing football.

Of course, he is a hero and mentor for just about everyone who is a Patriots fan and everyone who loves football in general.

I started writing articles in college, but only about the Patriots. Every week I wrote about the game and soon had written 25 articles. If it weren’t for Tom, I probably wouldn’t be writing this article right now and I would have never joined Belly Up Sports. I’m not even sure my love for football would have grown as much as it did if it weren’t for him.

I wouldn’t have the lifelong memories of Super Bowl celebrations or parades to hold on to as I grow up, and I wouldn’t have had my number one role model. I think that a lot of Patriots fans can relate to that. He was always there for us, for our entire lives. A real-life hero that we loved.

Looking Forward

One thing to be happy about is the fact that he will still be here and he will still be great. It may not be on the football field but, in another way. We know that. We know we can expect even better things to come from him. In one way or another, he will change the world for the better once again.
