SmackDown Live comes to us from inside the Bok Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma!

WWE: Ziggler & Kingston

WWE

Last night on Raw, Dolph Ziggler ambushed WWE champion Kofi Kingston which lead to a brawl involving Xavier Woods. That brawl ended up turning into a great promo by Dolph. Last week, Ziggler made his return and staked his claim as Kofi’s next challenger. They will square off in less than two weeks at Super Show Down in Saudi Arabia.

Ziggler made it clear that everything that happened to Kofi in 2019 should have been him. His promos the past week have been outstanding and fans want to see more.

Kofi has had his work cut out for him so far as WWE champion. He’s doing a phenomenal job and WWE has booked him very well since before WrestleMania.

Is it too early to take the title off of him and finally give Dolph the WWE championship he’s deserved? Some would say yes but take Becky Lynch, for example, she was Becky 2 Belts coming out of ‘Mania and no one saw her losing either title for a while. She dropped it a month later and she’s still on fire. Regardless, Kofi will excel in any situation WWE puts him in, singles or tag.

Kofi will square off against Kevin Owens tonight, so it may even lead to a triple threat match for the WWE title.

Raw on SmackDown Live

WWE

On Raw last night, the entire 1st hour was more or less SmackDown Live storylines. Raw basically had one story throughout with Lesnar teasing a MITB cash in all night, but never doing so.

With SmackDown Live taking up 1/3 of Raw, will there be Raw superstars taking over major parts of tonight’s show?

WWE: Bayley’s Next Challenger

WWE

Bayley came out of Money in the Bank as one of the biggest stars in WWE. She won MITB and cashed in on Charlotte Flair, winning the SmackDown Woman’s championship.

The most obvious challenger for Bayley right now is, unfortunately, Charlotte Flair. Wherever Flair is, whatever brand she’s on, she’ll be in the title picture, no matter the story.

Much like Lesnar, It’s not a story of if, it’s a story of when Charlotte will win her 10th woman’s championship.

Bayley deserves a long title reign. She needs to elevate younger, newer talent just like they’re doing with Lacey Evans on Raw. The fans are tired of Charlotte in the same position every month. People like Ember Moon, Kairi Sane, and Sonya Deville are quickly becoming less relevant because WWE only pushes 2-3 woman like they’re superstars!

The morale of this is, give the fans something new WWE. Please.

R Truth Continues His 24/7 Title Reign

Somehow, someway, R Truth has managed to hold the 24/7 for over a week now. He survived the Uso’s Memorial Day block party, but just barely.

It seemed very likely that Truth would lose last night. With the old WWF Hardcore title, the belt would change more than five times a week, at least.

Everyone is after Truth and his title. WWE has done great with this concept so far and Truth is the right man to keep the belt on; it fits his character so well. That doesn’t mean he won’t lose it tonight, though. It’s definitely something to keep an eye on.
