The Masked Singer Season Ten Premiere Recap

The Masked Singer Season ten premiere aired this week. Fans were introduced to the first group of singers and a big reveal.

This fall, The Masked Singer is upping the stakes in a big way with theme nights and extraordinary costumes and clues. There will be a total of sixteen contestants with the first group introduced this week. Season ten will feature three groups and wild cards competing to make it to the semi-final rounds. Here is a recap of the premiere episode including some favorite performances, clues, and the big reveal.

Gazelle’s premiere performance of Alanis Morrisette’s “Uninvited” wowed the panelists. The panelists were impressed with her powerful but controlled vocals. Fans have different theories on who Gazelle could be, ranging from Carrie Underwood to Idina Manziel.  She is already a top contender because of her amazing voice.

Cow is another contestant who performed this week, and everyone seemed to enjoy it. The clues referenced that he is a budding star. There was a lot to like about his performance and voice. His identity has been a challenge for fans because the clues are cooking, Vegas, and hit songs. He sounds like a professional singer so it could be anybody.

Also, the Diver gave a great performance, and he has a strong stage presence. The panelists seemed to be impressed with his vocal range. The guesses included reality stars like Tom Sandavol who has been in the headlines for a scandal which fits in with most of his clues.

Another character fans were introduced to was Rubber Ducky. He gave an entertaining performance with nice vocals and stage presence. The guesses ranged from Marlon Wayans to Anthony Anderson based on clues such as he is a household name in movies and TV.

One of the night’s best performances came from The S’More who has an amazing voice and stage presence. Also, his clues were giving boy band vibes such as “Step by Step” a song by New Kids on the Block along with teen heartthrob. Therefore fans have theories on who S’more could be ranging from Kevin Richardson and Jordan Knight both from famous boy bands.

The Reveal

The most shocking, surprising, and specular reveals have happened on the show, and season ten is about to take it to the next level. The Rubber Ducky turned out to be actor Anthony Anderson. Fans will know him from movies like” Scary Movie”.

Season ten looks to be the best one yet. Therefore tune in next Wednesday for NFL night which will be fun. The Masked Singer airs Wednesdays at 7/8 c on Fox.
