The season 12 quarterfinals on the Masked Singer was on this week. The four remaining singers competed against each other and had a big reveal.
The group champions were all together to battle it out and share some pivotal clues. Goo, Buffalos, Strawberry Shortcake, and Wasp performed. Here is a recap of the episode and who went home this week.
Quarterfinals

Song and Performance: Goo gave an exceptional rendition of ” Iris.” He showed off his lower register and deep tone with this song. He made that song his own and gave it new life. The panelists were impressed with his wide range of singing skills.
Panel Guesses: Kobie Turner and John Cena
Clue Package: Goo’s clue package shared a story about how he had a goal and scraped just enough money to make it happen. He became successful at a young and is multitalented. The visual clues featured a tackle box, sack of gold, draft call, motorcycle, and tiny ram toy.
Buffalos
Song and Performance: Buffalos were revealed to be a trio of impressive singers. Their quarterfinal performance was exceptional with incredible vocals. They certainly brought the energy, powerhouse vocals, and harmonies with their rendition of ” Still The One”.
Panel Guesses: Boyz to Men, Blackstreet, and Bell Biv Devoe
Clue Package; Buffalos continue to see success with their legendary career even after facing some obstacles a few years ago. They mention that the group has performed in arenas, at the Super Bowl, and has a star on the Walk of Fame. There were some images of an umbrella, the Philadelphia Eagles, a golden crown, and a mini tractor.

Song and Performance: For her performance Strawberry Shortcake gave a sweet rendition of ” Typical”. This song showcased the softer side of her voice and personality. It was a great song choice for her and she has grown as a performer.
Panel Guesses: AJ Michalka, Hayley Duff, and Katy Perry
Clue Package: Strawberry Shortcake mentioned that she was in a parade and had fond memories of singing with her mom who had her career as an artist. Also, she mentions that Disney had a huge impact on her career as a young artist. The visual clues featured mouse ears, a cow in a dress, a parade float, and a music note topper.
Wasp
Song and Performance: Wasp takes a classic approach utilizing his effortless falsetto to reach new heights. It was a captivating performance that got the panelists in their feels. He has an amazing voice and stage presence so he has to be a professional singer.
Panel Guesses: Mario, Usher, and Maxwell.
Clue Package: Wasp is a songwriter who writes about his real life. He mentions that he has hit songs, been on theater stages, and starred in one of the biggest shows of the decade. There were some images of a box office, dance studio, and Broadway stages.
Smackdown Round and Reveal
The show treated viewers to an epic battle between Goo and Strawberry Shortcake that led to an elimination. Both singers were amazing so it was a tough decision. After Goo was eliminated, he was revealed as NFL star Kobie Turner.
Season 12 has some incredible talent and the performances have been amazing. Tune in next week as the final singers compete for the prize. The Masked Singer airs Wednesdays at 7/8 c on Fox.
