Week 3 is about to start, and once again. We have a lot of injury-related news, this first two weeks of the season has been fatal in terms of injuries. This time, two of the most emblematic QBs in the NFL went down. Join me to see who they are to later move on to our week 3 ATS Picks:
Pittsburgh Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger
Out for the season due to an elbow injury
New Orleans Saints QB Drew Brees
Out for 6 to 12 weeks with thumb injury of his throwing hand
NY Jets QB Trevor Siemian
Out for the season with an ankle injury
Dallas Cowboys WR Michael Gallup
Out for 2 to 4 weeks with a knee injury
Dallas Cowboys DT Antwaun Woods
Out for 8 to 12 weeks with a ligament injury
Carolina Panthers QB Cam Newton
Is in doubt for this week with an ankle injury
Oakland Raiders RB Josh Jacobs
Is day to day with a groin injury and an illness
WRs Alshon Jeffery and DeSean Jackson of Philadelphia Eagles and fellow WR of the Oakland Raiders Tyrell Williams
They all are day to day with minor injuries, however, their participation in Sunday’s game is in doubt.
Week Two Bet Results
We had a very good week, we hit 3 and fail only 1 ATS Picks.
Pick of the Week: Packers -2.5
Packers took advantage of 21-0 very early in the match and that was enough to win 21-16 and with this, our bet was successful $$$.
Hunch Pick: Broncos +3
Denver ended up losing the game dramatically, but only lost by 2 points with a score of 16-14, so with +3 we hit our Pick $$$.
Double Parlay: Steelers -3.5 / Lions +1.5
The Steelers lost Big Ben and that affected them a lot Mason Rudolph played well instead, but no enough to win and they lost 28-26, we fail the Pick.
In the second Pick of the Parlay, the Lions won at home by a score of 13-10, and our Pick was successful $.
Week 3 ATS Picks
We are in week 3 and still don’t have a clear picture, there are teams still not showing their full potential and there are teams with a tricky record too. Let’s continue betting cautiously and not be guided by the surprises that are characteristic of the first weeks of action.
Pick of the Week: Giants at Tampa Bay Under 48
New York Giants at Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Tampa’s defense is playing at a good level but its offense quite the opposite. The Giants for their part will make rookie QB Daniel Jones his starter for this match. It is very difficult to predict a winner under these circumstances, but I think it will be a game of few points so we are going with the Unders.
Hunch Pick: Raiders +8.5
Oakland Raiders at Minnesota Vikings: The Raiders have just been crushed in a single quarter by the Kansas City Chiefs, maybe that’s why this spread is so high. But the Vikings aren’t the Chiefs and Kirk Cousins doesn’t even approach Mahomes in terms of talent, Oakland is also a very improved team compared to last season, so I think he will manage to keep this match close.
Additional Pick: Steelers +6.5
Pittsburgh Steelers at San Francisco 49ers: After losing Big Ben, Mason Rudolph will have his first chance as a starter. The Steelers are by far the best team the 49ers have faced this season and it’s going to be a close game. I believe the Steelers have a shot to win it if Rudolph can stay away from turnovers, so I think that with +6.5 points they are the right side to bet.
Remember that gambling is a game of chances and nobody can guarantee you to win every bet. If someone does, please don’t believe him, even if they are professional tipsters or not.
