The Free Agency and the Draft are near, so it will be weeks of a lot of transactions and news in the NFL, something I like to do every year is my First Round Mock Draft, this year will do it in three parts to make it more readable and fun for all of you.
I will be updating my Mock according to the hires and trades that are made before the Draft, since such transactions will modify the needs of each team or even his Draft slot, so, let’s go with the first 10 Picks:
Pac Tamez Top 10 NFL Mock Draft
1.- Arizona Cardinals: Kyler Murray QB, Oklahoma
I think Coach Kingsbury is in love with Murray’s skills and will take him first overall.
2.- San Francisco 49ers: Nick Bosa DE, Ohio State
The 49ers take the best Prospect of this entire Draft thanks to the Cardinals.
3.- New York Jets: Quinnen Willams DT, Alabama
The Jets can not let this great prospect pass this slot, although they could make a change here with someone who likes Haskins and feels like the Raiders may grab him before them.
4.- Oakland Raiders: Josh Allen DE, Kentucky
Defensive End is a very needy position for the Raiders after they have a trade to Kalil Mack, so they grab the second best prospect in that position.
5.- Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Rashan Gary, DE, Michigan
Tampa also grabs a great Defensive End prospect since there is a lot of talent in this position in this year’s Draft and that does not happen very often.
6.- New York Giants: Dwayne Haskins QB, Ohio State
The Giants go for their QB of the future.
7.- Jacksonville Jaguars: Montez Sweat DE, Mississippi State
Another Defensive End, Sweat impressed everyone in the Scouting Combine with his great speed and his stock went up.
8.- Detroit Lions: Devin White LB, LSU
Detroit could go for a WR here, but Coach Patricia can not let a big and fast LB like White pass through him.
9.- Buffalo Bills: DK Metcalf, WR, Ole Miss
The Bills are in great need for a WR, so they take a gamble with this year scouting combine big winner, Metcalf is a bum or bust prospect, but his physical skills are too much for not to be the first WR off the board.
10.- Denver Broncos: Drew Lock QB, Missouri
I think Elway is going for another quarterback of the future and I think he gets a bust again.
I’m cutting my Mock in three parts because i believe it is easier for everybody to make his own Mock this way, step by step, so I invite you all to make your own Mock Draft and whoever likes to share it with me it’s more than welcome.
If your team is not in the top 10 and would like to know who I think they will select, do not worry, the next two weeks I will be publishing my Mock for selections 11 to 21 and 22 to 32 respectively and finally my final version with all 32 first round selections.
Have an excellent week and remember that on March 13 the Free Agency begins…. stay tuned!
