We here at Belly Up Sports, really try to support athletes who support us, but also support a good cause similar as well. Natalie Decker is one of those athletes, she has really become a huge advocate of a disease she suffers from herself in juvenile arthritis. You guys know I recently wrote an article about her truck season being up and down. Well, she is going to finish the season in a strong sense. Before jumping into how Natalie is going to do that, I want to kind of give you a little information on juvenile arthritis.

While juvenile arthritis isn’t exactly a specific disease, it is more or less an umbrella term. It really is used to describe multiple autoimmune and inflammatory conditions that can develop in children. It will even cover any pediatric rheumatic diseases that can develop in children under the age of sixteen as well. So, prepare yourself for this a whopping 300,000 children suffer from one of the many diseases under the umbrella of JA in the United States.

Arthritis Foundation

Along with that, no one has been able to really diagnose a reason for any of the JA issues, and there is no one cure for juvenile arthritis. So, that’s why it is so important for research to continuously be conducted. If we could find a cure for even one of the many JA issues it could help benefit hundreds of children’s lives. With continuous support and help from athletes like Natalie and even half of Natalie’s fans will help things head in the right direction.

What’s to Come?

So, after her first trip to the paper clip of Martinsville this weekend, then a trip to ISM after she will be racing in the truck series finale at Homestead. Obviously, yes I know she isn’t competing for a championship, but all in due time, right? She will be competing for a good finish and maybe even a win. Along with that, she will be driving a truck with some names on the hood of the truck. How you may ask those people got their names there, well they donated to the Arthritis Foundation on her website. Unfortunately, that chance has ended to get your name on the hood.

However, she still has a few different donation options you need to go check out on her website. As well as the options she has to donate still on her site. She was recently on one of our official NASCAR podcast Chairgatin. So, Natalie revealed some information that shortly after the race there will be an auction. What may be included in this auction you ask? Well, the hood off of the Homestead Truck will be involved. She is having a one time only fire suite made to wear for the race. The suite will be auctioned off as well as her helmet from the race. All of the proceeds from the auction will be going to the Arthritis Foundation.

You need to pay attention to Natalie’s social media pages for a schedule on the auction and her website. Because, any single one of those items could make for some awesome decorative pieces especially if your name made it onto the hood of the truck. Plus your money used to buy the items will be going to a good cause. If you want to learn more about RA or even the Arthritis Foundation. You can go to Natalie’s own website, and or to the Arthritis Foundations site as well.
