In Week four the NFL gave us a week full of surprises and unexpected results. It was a great week, very fun, but very difficult for those of us who do predictions. Let’s see the most relevant news from week 4 and then we will go on to our Week 5 ATS Picks.

Carolina Panthers QB Cam Newton

He’s out  6 to 8 more weeks with his foot injury

Cincinnati Bengals WR John Ross

He was put on IR for a shoulder injury.

Indianapolis Colts WR TY Hilton

He’s ready to return to action

NY Giants RB Saquon Barkley

It seems that his injury was less serious than expected so he could even see action as soon as week 6

LA Chargers WR Dontrelle Inman

Out all season due to quadricep injury

NE Patriots K Stephen Gostkowski

Out all season due to hip injury

GB Packers WR Devante Adams

Out of 1 to 2 games with a thumb injury.

LA Chargers RB Melvin Gordon

This news is not  injury related, Gordon has already reported last week with the team and this Sunday he will see some action for the first time this season.

How we did in Week 4

As we said a moment ago, it was a Week of surprises and unexpected results in the NFL, let’s see our Picks results:

Pick of the Week: Texans -4.5

The Texans  surprisingly lost  at home by a score of 16-10, Pick failed

Hunch Pick: Cardinals +5

The Cardinals made us look bad since they were crushed by the Seahawks 27-10 so the Pick was failed

Additional Pick: Broncos -3

The Broncos lost again, but lost by only 2 points with a score of 26-24 , our Pick was successful $$$

Blacklist

NY Jets

The Dolphins have a Bye, so this week we are only going to keep the Jets on the blacklist. Until QB Sam Darnold returns, we will not put the Jets in our Picks for any reason.

Week 5 ATS Picks

We could not recover in week 4 due to the large number of surprises there were , but this is the world of betting, sometimes you win and sometimes you lose. We have to move on to our Week 5 picks, trusting that this time we will do it better!

Pick of the Week: Ravens-3
Baltimore Ravens at Pittsburgh Steelers

QB Lamar Jackson and company visit their eternal rival, the Pittsburgh Steelers. But this time, Pittsburgh is decimated by injury and without his leader QB Ben Roethlisberger. The Steelers won last week, crushing the Bengals, but Cincinnati is a team far inferior to the Ravens, who come from losing at home against the Browns in week 4. I do not see that them losing two divisional games in a row. I think that with their defense and Jackson’s good game on the offensive side, the Ravens will come out with the victory by at least 1 TD against a Steelers team who, without key players who have left like Bell, Brown and the injured Big Ben, offensively are not even at 30% of what they were last season.

Double Parlay: Jaguars + 3.5 / Texans-5
Jaxonville Jaguers at Carolina Panthers
Picks

Duel of defenses and substitute QBs, who by the way are playing very well. For Carolina, Kyle Allen has led his team to two straight wins. He has not done things on his own, offensively the RB Christian McCaffrey has played great and their defense is doing things very well. This time he faces the media phenomenon of this season the QB Gardner Minshew, who with his peculiar way of dressing and behaving has been a revelation this season. But not everything is just for show with Minshew, he also wins games and plays very well. His way of playing, with courage and without fear, has also earned him two straight wins for his team. Jacksonville’s defense is also playing at a very good level, so I expect an even duel and not many points. That’s why I stay with the Underdog, the Jaguars in this case and their 3.5 points of advantage

Atlanta Falcons at Houston Texans

Atlanta is playing awful since the beginning of the season. The offense has not been in rhythm and the defense has just lost one of its best men again, the S Keanu Neal. They go to Houston to face the Texans who can not afford to lose two straight games at home. I think that QB DeShaun Watson, WR DeAndre Hopkins and the other members of the Houston offense will have a good game and win this game by at least 1 TD.

Additional Pick: Packers +3.5
Green Bay Packers at Dallas Cowboys
Picks

The Packers’ offense woke up last week against Philadelphia. Unfortunately for them, they lost the game. Dallas meanwhile lost a visit in a very close duel in New Orleans. Both defenses are good and both dangerous offenses so I predict a very even match. That’s why we keep the points and we go on the side of Packers. Take advantage before the spread drops to +3 or even at +2.5, today is at +3.5 and you have to take advantage of it.

That’s all for this week, enjoy the games, enjoy your family, and if you are going to bet, always do it with a cool head and with moderation
