The Masked Singer Group C finals were last night, where they sent home one singer. The remaining three move on to the Super Nine next week. Here is a recap of this week’s masked singer and some clues to help everyone make their guesses at home.
Performance Recaps
Rhino
The Rhino’s performance of Teardrops of my Heart by Smokey Robinson was surprising because he showed off more of his voice. He could be an athlete or a professional singer based on the clues and performance. There were not many guesses for the Rhino. The clues were that he struggled with criticism, learned to surf and wears his heart on his sleeve.
T-Rex
T-Rex had a lot of energy and fun in her performance. Based on the performance and clues it seemed like a young star, who could be on Disney. The judges mostly agreed on Jojo Siwa as their guess for who the T-Rex could be. The main clues were that she went on private planes, is a perfectionist, young fans and even the sneakers she wore.
Astronaut
Astronaut performed “Shape of You” by Ed Sheeran. He showed more improvement in his voice. The performance was nice where he interacted more with the crowd. This one is a little hard to guess because the clues were aiming in a different direction, but it could be a former teen star or young performer. The guesses were Joseph Gordon Levitt and J.C Chasez. The clues were that he was always a leader, space cadet, and “Bye Bye Bye”.
Night Angel
The Night Angel Showed off her voice singing “Shout” by the Isley Brothers. This could be a professional singer because the performance sounded like a professional and her voice is good. The judges were guessing successful singers like Janet Jackson and Toni Braxton. There were some interesting clues like a teen star, astronomy, disco ball and attending her graduation.
Group C finals Elimination
Group C Finals elimination was tough because all the performances were good. The T-Rex was eliminated and revealed to be the young star Jojo Siwa. She is a young star who performs all over the world, acts and has a merchandise line. Since four out of the five judges had the right guess, the clues must have been helpful. The remaining three will join the Super Nine which starts next Wednesday.
