After the truck race was canceled yesterday thanks to the rain, the Pocono Organics 150 Truck Series at Pocono is underway early on this Sunday morning!
Truck Series at Pocono; Stage One
Austin Hill and Sheldon Creed lead the field to the green flag!
Before the first lap can be completed, there’s a caution! Contact is made and series champion, Matt Crafton, and driver of the #9 Codie Rohrbaugh slides up the track and hard into the wall. Both drivers are done for the day on lap one.
Green! Sheldon Creed leads!
Trouble on lap six. The #4 clips the front corner of Austin Wayne Self are both are sent into the outside wall. The red flag is out.
Creed leads again at the restart.
The yellow flag is out again for the third time within 12 laps. Grant Enfinger looks to go around Ty Majeski on the outside. Majeski moves up to block and catches the front end of Enfinger. He bounces hard off the inside wall. The red flag is back out.
A few drivers who are currently outside the top-10 have opted to pit while under caution.
Creed and Hill are battling for the lead!
Sheldon Creed holds off Austin Hill to win stage one! This is Creed’s first stage one.
Stage Two
Creed still leads to begin stage two.
Brennan Poole has a tire going down and is in the outside wall. Caution is out.
Creed leads again at the restart.
Jordan Anderson in the #3 has a flat tire and spins bringing out another caution.
That marks the end of the stage. Sheldon Creed takes another stage win!
Stage 3; Trucks at Pocono
While under caution on pit road, Christian Eckes has to make a sharp turn out of his pit box, gets too far out, and makes contact with another truck.
There’s a new leader at the restart! Zane Smith leads!
Tanner Gray gets loose on the bottom of the track and catches the corner of the #02. Tate Fogleman spins into the outside wall.
22 laps to go! Kyle Busch Motorsports drivers, Christian Eckes and Brandon Jones are 1st and 2nd.
Trouble for leader, Christian Eckes. Eckes says he blew a right rear tire. Caution is out and Eckes chance at winning today’s race at Pocono is down the drain.
Austin Hill has the lead!
Trouble for driver, Clay Greenfield, but the green stays out as he makes his way to pit road.
Caution again!
Brandon Jones leads at the green flag.
Austin Hill is side by side with Jones.
Three wide for the lead! Creed takes the lead!
White flag is out and Jones and Creed are battling hard for the lead! They’re bouncing off the doors!
Jones takes the lead!
Brandon Jones wins at Pocono Raceway!
This is not only Brandon’s first series win, but this is also the first NASCAR win for the crew members on the team!
