The Group A playoffs premiered on this week’s Masked Singer referred to as Famous Masked Words. There were four good performances, more clues, and of course a big reveal at the end of the show. As some say two heads are better than one, the snowy owls are proof of that. They are the first duet costume featuring two talented singers with another good performance. Though there are double the clues to figure out.
Clues: Messy break ups, anchor, knight in shining amour and faith. The Special clue is tip of the hat.

Popcorn
The Popcorn gets better and better each time she performs as she gains more confidence. All the power, strength, and vulnerability came out this week. She is an early contender based on her voice and stage presence. There were a lot of 80’s references in the clue package, this could be a singer who was big in that decade.
Clues: Tiger, rubic cube, long nights and Proud Mary. The Special clue was a model of Venus.

Giraffe
Giraffe has a nice voice and he could move on stage which was a surprise considering he rapped the first performance. He is fun to watch because he keeps things light and happy. There were some T V references leading to believe that he may be an actor from a popular series.
Clues: Fox, Atlanta, blink of an eye , tough time and peaches. The Special clue was a domino with two fours.

Sun
It was a captivating performance from the Sun as she was coming out to compete. She is a good singer that could make it far in the competition as it looks to be the best year for female singers. The clues give off vibes that maybe she was a teen star at one point.
Clues: fractured home, into the woods, baking tasty treats, moon and childhood. Special clue was that her outlook was not so good.

Group A Playoffs Reveal
The Giraffe was revealed as actor Brian Austin Green most popularly known for his role as David Silver in 1990’s teen drama Beverly Hills 90210. A well-known actor especially for those who grew up in the 90s. This was a surprise because the clues and voice were not obvious fits.
The Masked Singer enlisted the help of a clue-dropping drone to help keep things socially distanced. It was another big reveal that had jaws dropping. As the judges mentioned season four may have some of the most talented singers. This is saying something because they have had some good performers in the past.
