Welcome back, everyone. If you thought the last mini-golf challenge captivated the world, wait until they see this one. With family in town this week, what better way to kill time than to sit by the fire and throw this on the television?
As a refresher, I suck. That may be an overreaction. I had a good start and fell apart late, finishing at nine-over par for the round. That was Union Station’s new course and I didn’t know what to expect. This is the Cave Springs Golf Center. I also didn’t know what to expect, but it wasn’t new.
The wait is over. Here is the next much-anticipated mini-golf challenge.
After a hot start at the first, it looked like I was going to redeem myself from the last round. That confidence and optimism lasted about… one shot. The rest of the front nine went downhill fast. After finishing the front nine at eight-over par, it was a doom and gloom mindset on the course.
The back nine was much better. The back nine was played at only one-over par, building confidence into the next challenge.
Cave Springs Golf Course Review
Course: 7.5/10
I’ll say it. I liked this course more than I liked Union Station. The facility and the surrounding area is not nearly as nice. After all, Union Station was new. As a course itself, there were obstacles and props at this course, making it more fun and adding challenges. Clearly, I was not ready for a more challenging course, but I digress.
If you are in the St. Charles, MO area or at the driving range, this is definitely a mini-golf course to check out. While there is more to do at Union Station than play mini-golf, the only things to do at the Cave Spring Golf Center is work on your game or play mini-golf.
Be on the lookout for the next challenge. Who knows, maybe I’ll have a few competitors looking to take the throne.
As always, I’m open to a challenge. If you have a score you think I can beat, let me know in the comments or on Twitter @Dnut66.
