Jayson Tatum and the Boston Celtics knew going into Game Six that losing could not be an option or it was over. The 24 year-old out of St. Louis dropped 46 points and outscored Giannis Antentokounmpo in a 108-95 win. This Game Six Tatum performance could go down in the history books, but only if the Celtics win Game Seven. Klay Thompson put on a clinic in 2016 to win the Warriors a Game Six which then turned into a series win after winning in Game Seven. LeBron James did the same thing to these Boston Celtics in 2012 and 2018 to then win the series in Seven Games. If Tatum wants to be remember for this performance, Boston has to win Game Seven, but how will they do it?
Brown and Tatum Special
The Celtics are 5-0 when Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum both score at least 30 points in the same game. One of the ways we can remember Game Six Tatum performance is another big performance from the duo. Boston has had a tough time getting both of them going at the same time in this series. If the best duo in basketball can put it together on Sunday, they will find themselves in their third Eastern Conference Finals together in the last five years.

Tatum and Brown can do all that they can and still lose due to a generational player on the other side. Boston could use a spectacular performance from a role player. We’ve seen it once this series with Al Horford scoring 30 points in game four to even the series and Marcus Smart had an impressive outing in Game Six. Anyone could show up in Game Seven and bust the door down. The Celtics could use it to get to the next round.
