As much as we almost just wish this season was over, the Patriots still have three important games to play. The Patriots are coming off the worst loss since the Miami Miracle. It was probably the worst loss in Patriots/NFL history. Many Pats fans probably don’t even want to watch the remaining games on the schedule. At this point, losing out for the draft pick might be more appealing than a playoff spot.
After last week many of us were looking ahead to next year and counting this season as a wash, but Bill was quick to remind us that there is still football to be played.
Is the plan to stick with Mac Jones for the final three weeks?

Belichick Yeah, the plan is to try and beat Cincinnati.
As ugly as it has been watching them play football this year, the Patriots have still managed to win seven games. Our defense has been carrying us all year. I think they will put up a fight to finish out the season.
I think they give us a chance.
They are in the discussion for the best defense in the NFL this season, which makes our offensive struggles sting even more. This defense deserves the chance to compete in the post-season.
Last week may have been the final straw of embarrassment for our offense. Nothing has gone right this year. I think everyone is finally over it, and it can get any worse. They have nothing to lose. I think having 3 tough AFC matchups to end the year is what is best. Someone on the offense has to step up and make some plays other than Rhamondre Stevenson.
Joe Burrow and the Bengals are currently on a six-game win streak after last week’s comeback win against Brady and the Bucs. What more can you ask for as a Pats fan? We get the hottest team in the NFL after last week’s nightmare. Let’s get back on our feet and throw some haymakers while relying on our defense.
The Patriots will take on the Bengals at Gillette on Christmas Eve, the Dolphins at home on New Year’s Day, and then finish off the year at Buffalo on January 8th. Considering the Dolphins only have one more win than us, these are significant games, not that I expect any playoff run if we do make the wild card.
I don’t ask for three wins. I am just asking that everything from this year is left out on the field.
I am just hoping for a strong finish for the Patriots, or it will be an even longer off-season.
