No one expected Trevor Lawrence and the Jacksonville Jaguars to be in the position that they are today. The Jags are 0-4 and heading into another divisional matchup vs the Colts. The Jags are the only winless left team in the NFL.

It’s safe to say that this next game is crucial for both the Jags and Trevor Lawrence. Falling to 0-5 with 2 losses within the division could really hurt their chances of having a successful season. The Jags are favored in this game but not by much.

With that being said, Is Mac Jones Going To Get An Opportunity ?

The Jags added the Jacksonville native Mac Jones to their roster over the offseason and Jags fans may be calling for him if these struggles continue.

There Were High Expectations Going Into This Season For The Newly Paid Quarterback.

Trevor Lawrence just signed a 275 million dollar contract and after this start, that may be feeling like a potential mistake for the Jaguars.

Not to put all of the blame on Lawrence, but he is the 1st overall pick and the leader of this team.

If the Jaguars don’t win soon, I think the door is open for Mac Jones to get an opportunity. This doesn’t seem like something Doug Pederson would be afraid to do.

He is an experienced coach who has gained a reputation to be bold.

It might be a hard pill to swallow for most Patriot and Jaguar fans If Mac Jones were to come in and find success in any way. What makes this even more interesting is that the the Jaguars play the Patriots in just three weeks.

If the Jaguars don’t turn things around quickly we may be in for it.
