The Masked Singer season 12 semi-finals aired this week. It featured a brand new twist, performances, reveal, and more.
The top three singers battled it out for the final two spots in the finale. They began the episode with a fun rendition of “ Some Nights”. All three singers deserve a spot in next week’s finale but only two can make it. Therefore keep reading to find out who was eliminated this week.
Season 12 Semi-finals

Song and Performance: Strawberry Shortcake serenaded the audience with a fun rendition. It was an unbelievable performance with tight beautiful vocals and stage presence. She has been impressive this season getting better each week.
Panel Guesses: Sara Hyland, Joey King, and Lucy Hale
Clue Package: Strawberry Shortcake mentions that she is branching out alone away from family and friends. She is performing on stage alone for the first time in her career. The visual clues featured a cat, apple, press tour, and package.
Buffalos
Song and Performance: Buffalos gave another exceptional performance. This is one of the best trios to hit the Masked Singer stage. They have incredible harmonies and know how to work the stage. The panelists have called them the top contenders this season because there is so much talent.
Panel Guesses: Boys to Men, After Seven and Color Me Bad
Clue Package: Buffalos said they were raised in poor neighborhoods and practiced at bus stops. They have been in the music industry for a long time, working with people like the boy band New Kids on the Block. They also mentioned that their kids made music together. The visual clues included a jackpot, Motown license plate, eagle, and sitcoms.

Song and Performance: Wasp came to play with his semi-final performance of ” Beautiful Things”. His soulful voice, falsetto, and intricate dance moves had everyone buzzing. This is a talented singer with an amazing vocal range.
Panel Guesses: Mario, Anthony Ramos, and Jason Derulo. –
Clue Package: Wasp talked about participating in a talent contest when he was younger and winning it. He met a music mogul at the talent show that gave him a record deal. The clues included a race car, film reel, dance studio, and guitar.
For the first time during the Masked Singer semifinals, the Battle Royale and Smackdown were combined. Strawberry Shortcake sang her heart out and the Buffalos used their harmonies to their advantage. Even though they were all amazing the Strawberry Shortcake was revealed as singer AJ Michalka.
