The Masked Singer Season 13 Group A Night Two Recap

The Masked Singer Season 13 Group A Night Two aka Shrek Night aired this week. The four singers took the stage again.

The four remaining Group A contestants performed “ Accidentally in Love”, “ Hallelujah”, “ I’m A Believer” and “ Wide Awake” which are inspired by the Shrek movie franchise. The show celebrates the franchise with a special theme and clues. Therefore keep reading to find out more.

Group A Night Two

Coral

Song and Performance: Coral gave a beautiful rendition of a classic song. Her emotional delivery and powerful vocals were amazing to watch. The panelists were equally impressed with her talent. Therefore she could be a famous young superstar.

Panel Guesses: Lily Reinhart, Dove Cameron, and Hailee Stenfeld

Clue Package: Coral talked about struggling through the madness of the industry. Her vocals have been heard on radios across the globe. The visual clues featured a donkey, a werewolf, comic books, and a movie poster.

Fuzzy Peas

Song and Performance: Fuzzy Peas gave a good performance this week. His voice and energy were fun to watch. His voice is better than expected but he may not be a professional singer. The panelists think he could be a professional actor who sings.

Panel Guess: Antonio Banderas and George Lopez

Clue Package: Fuzzy Peas is a third generation in his career field so maybe he is from a famous family. Also, he is known for his hit songs which scored him a gold record. The visual clues included a golf glove, a video game controller, a map of Spain, and a glass of milk.

Ant

Song and Performance: Ant gave a fantastic performance that impressed the audience. She has a beautiful smooth tone to her voice that does sound familiar. There is a chance she is a professional singer or actress who can sing.

Panel Guesses: Kesha, Evan Rachel Wood and Lindsay Lohan.

Clue Package: Ant described her journey as one with many ups and downs that can be hard in the spotlight. She also talked about experiencing something traumatic. The visual clues included a compass, candles, pink spray paint, a stormy hillside, and a broken mirror.

Paparazzo

Song and Performance: Paparazzo entertained the audience with a fun rendition of a popular song. He has impressive vocals that shocked everyone because he does sound like a professional singer. The panelists are guessing that he is someone who both sings and acts.

Panel Guesses: James Marsden, Matthew Lawrence and Elijah Wood.

Clue Package: Paparazzo talked about working with famous friends on blockbuster movies. He also mentions that singing is not his main job and that this is the first time he is performing for a big audience. The visual clues included a silver screen, a race car, fireflies, and a Labrador retriever.

Reveal

The show revealed another identity this week that had everyone shocked. Following the audience vote Fuzzy Peas was eliminated from the competition. He was revealed as champion boxer Oscar De La Hoya, no one had a clue it was him.

Shrek night was the perfect mix of fun, comedy, and great music. Tune in next week for the Group A finals and Rat Pack Night. The Masked Singer airs Wednesdays at 7/8 c on Fox.
