Episode six of  Masked Singer Season  13 aired this week. The remaining contestants in Group B brought the country vibes with new performances and a big reveal.

The show celebrated the 40th anniversary of the Grand Ole Opry during the Group B finals. The remaining Group B contestants sang renditions of “ Here You Come Again”, “ Take Me Home Country Road,” and “ Something in the Water,”. Here is a rundown of the episode. Episode Six Group B Finals

Boogie Woogie

Song and Performance: Boogie Woogie gave a fantastic performance this week with a fresh take on the song. He has danced his way into fans’ hearts with his incredible voice and star quality. Based on the clues, fans and panelists think he could be a professional recording artist.

Panel Guesses: Andy Grammar, Ryan Tedder, and Josh Hartnett

Clue Package: He shared a few things about himself in the clues. He tries to keep everything positive and does not like gossip. The sunny outlook helped launch his career but also sparked some criticism at the same time. The visual clues included dancing shoes, a cartoon monster, crossbones, a record player, and MLB.

Pearl

Song and Performance: Pearl gave a beautiful performance of a country hit, which made her a Group B favorite. She has a nice voice and a good stage presence. However, she does scream a little bit too much during the song. The panelists are getting country singer vibes from her.

Panel Guesses: Gretchen Wilson

Clue Package:  Pearl mentioned that, as a young adult, she was stuck in a tide pool on the side of the rough with a rough home life. She worked in a bar before her career was launched by accident. A major visual clue about Pearl is revealed as one of the men in black dancing out wearing white cowboy boots to go along with the album cover, baseball, and tour bus. Also, the cowboy boots had a flexed bicep on them.

Griffen

Song and Performance: Griffen is an incredible performer, and his rendition this week was amazing. He has a strong voice with a big range that sounds like a Broadway star. Also, it’s his passion and love for music that have made him a fan favorite. The fans think he is a 90s TV heartthrob.

Panel Guesses: James Van Der Beek

Clue Package: Griffen explained that growing up, he loved to sing, and there was nothing he loved more than Broadway. He was bullied relentlessly in school, so he continued to work toward his dream. The visual clues featured a video camera, a detective badge, bats, a first aid kit, and Texas.

Elimination

The Griffen and Boogie Woogie went head to head in the battle royale. They were both amazing but only one singer could move on. Therefore, Griffen was revealed as actor and 90s icon James Van Der Beek in a shocking elimination.

Group B busted out the melodies and dance moves with a little country flair. Tune in next week as the show welcomes Group C to the competition on Carnival Night.  The Masked Singer airs Wednesdays at /8 pm on Fox.
