When the season first started, I assumed fans were in for a long one. The Hornets came out flat in the opener against the Cavaliers. Then the team dropped a close one to Oklahoma City, with Brooklyn staring at them next. Then something unexpected happened. The Hornets defeated the Nets in a game I didn’t even think was possible. I figured maybe it was just a bad night for the Nets. No way the Hornets beat Dallas. Well, I was wrong. Are the Hornets good at basketball?

Last Night Recap

Last night the Hornets proved they could belong with the playoff squads in the Eastern Conference. After a 118-99 win over Dallas, I’m ready to crown the Hornets kings of the East. Print the shirts!LaMelo Ball showed all the haters that not only does he drop dimes, but he can also get buckets. Ball finished the game with 22 pts. 5 ast. and 8 rebs. Miles Bridges had a monster game with 20 pts and 16 rebs. Last night was basketball perfection, and something fans should be excited about.

What’s Next

Charlotte will take on Memphis tomorrow night. the Grizzlies will be coming into the game 1-3 and without Ja Morant. I’m not saying the buzz win by a million, but I am saying they will win by a million.

We are ringing in the New Year tomorrow with Hornets basketball. With a win, the Hornets will be undefeated in 2021. I can’t wait to see all the tweets of all the undefeated teams in the league tomorrow night (not really). Everyone enjoy the holiday and soak in that Charlotte is good at basketball. This buzz isn’t from drinking too much on New Year’s. This buzz is the feeling of exciting basketball.
