Big E Returns to SmackDown Live Tonight

Smackdown live

After a meniscus tear suffered a couple of months ago, Big E looks to return to SmackDown Live and reunite with his New Day brothers, Xavier Woods & WWE champion, Kofi Kingston. Kingston & Woods are throwing Big E a celebration for his return.

Expect Kevin Owens to be a sore loser and ruin the party. Owens was defeated Sunday at Money in the Bank by Kingston and is undoubtedly looking for another shot at Kofi.

With Big E back now, Owens will need some back up in the form of Sami Zayn. Zayn came to the aid of Owens recently so don’t expect Owens to come alone.

R Truth & The 24/7 Championship

Smackdown live

Last night, Mick Foley unveiled the 24/7 championship. The title is to be defended under the same rules as the old WWF Hardcore title. It will be defended at any time and any place as long as a referee is there to count the pinfall.

Titus O’Neal was the inaugural champion but quickly lost the belt to Robert Roode. Roode was tricked by R Truth, who won the title and left the arena.

Truth is the current champion now and needs to have eyes in the back of his head.

It’s very likely the title will change hands tonight, but who could win it from Truth? Carmella would be a hilarious choice but regardless, it will make for some entertaining television.

Bayley: The New SmackDown Live Woman’s Champion

Smackdown Live

Last Sunday at Money in the Bank, Bayley captured the Woman’s Money in the Bank contract. A short while later, she cashed in her contract on the new SmackDown Woman’s champion, Charlotte.

Her successful cash in made her the first woman’s grand slam champion in WWE history. The grand slam consists of the Raw, SmackDown, NXT, & Woman’s Tag Team titles.

The new champ is set to have an exclusive interview tonight to address her first actions as woman’s champion.

WWE didn’t have the best luck with Bayley’s last title reign. She won the title at WrestleMania and lost it shortly after, both to little fanfare, She’s lost a lot of momentum the past couple years but 2019 might be her year.

She was one half of the first ever Woman’s Tag Team champions as well as now the first ever grand slam woman’s champion. WWE gave her the biggest push that they could Sunday night and her future looks bright.
