It’s play-off season, and for those supporting teams in the play-offs, it is both a nervous and exciting time.

On Saturday, the Colts defeated the Texans. They will now play the Chiefs on Saturday afternoon.

The Chiefs have a terrible history in the play-offs, and the last play-off meeting with the Colts ended in a Colts win. This was back in 2014 when the Colts came back from 28 points down to beat the Chiefs 45-44. The two teams have not met in the play-offs since. That ends on Saturday.

One fan took it upon himself to try to help inspire the team and unite the fans. What started off as a simple suggestion in a tweet has quite simply blown up (well, with Chiefs fans it has, anyway.)

The Tweet of Belief

Kansas City Chiefs fan Jamie Jackson posted a tweet on Sunday that has gained a lot of attention. It is pretty normal to see a fan’s tweet get a number of likes and retweets, however, this tweet has gained attention that is quite astonishing.

The attention hasn’t just been from fellow Chiefs fans though, as linebacker Reggie Ragland took time to reply to the tweet!

This is a nice touch from Ragland, and it just shows that the players are reading our tweets and are paying attention to us, even if they don’t reply to us.

As a fellow Chiefs fan, I want to thank Jamie for bringing the fans and players a bit closer. Chiefs fans are trying to do their bit to help the players believe in themselves. As a result, we hope the players can react on the pitch on Saturday.

If you’re a Chiefs fan (or even if you’re not), and you’re somehow not following Jamie on Twitter, please do so @jjackson_chiefs. He deserves it!
