The Masked Singer Season Three Finale was one of the best yet and there were plenty of surprises. The winner of the Golden mask was announced as all three remaining singers were unmasked. If anyone missed it here is what happened in the finale.
Here is a recap of the surprise singers that were unmasked in season three. The Robot turned out to be rapper Lil Wayne, The Taco was host Tom Bergeron and Sarah Palin is the bear. Some other surprises were Astronaut being country superstar Hunter Hayes, Kitty being Opera singer Jackie Evancho and Rhino ended up being former pitcher Barry Zito. There was also the Kangaroo who was unmasked as model Jordyn Woods. This season was filled with a lot of surprises.
Finale Performances
The Turtle
The turtle was considered a front runner from the first episode because he is an all-around singer who could also dance. He wanted to break out of his shell and exceed expectations since he had a lot to prove. His last performance was his best yet, he has an amazing voice, beautiful falsetto, and great overall delivery of songs. It should have been enough to win but he showed just how talented he is. The final guesses for Turtle were Jesse McCartney and Nick Jonas.
The Night Angel
Night Angel was another singer that set herself apart from the beginning because of her amazing voice. She built her confidence each week with girl power songs, power moves, and overall performance. This was a seasoned singer who had been through a lot in her past. Some final guesses were Kandi Buress and Taraji. P Henson.
Third Place Winner
Frog
Each week, Frog brought the party was his ’90s throwback hip hop performances and high energy. He caught everyone’s attention with his last performance of Bad Boys for Life that featured a lot of fun choreography. It was not enough to help him win but he had a good run. Some final guesses were Bow Wow and Kid Cuddy.
The Reveals and Winner
In the end, the Frog took third place and was revealed as rapper Bow Wow who has seen success in movies and TV shows. The Turtle is the runner up and was revealed as singer Jesse McCartney. He is known for his hit song Beautiful Soul, has seen success in TV and songwriting. This was surprising because the Turtle should have won based on how good his performances were.
The Masked Singer Season three winner was the Night Angel, who was unmasked as singer Kandi Buress. She is known for being a singer, reality star, and producer. Some may know Buress from her time on the hit reality show Real House-Wives of Atlanta. It was a fitting way to end the show with another big star revealed.
