That’s right. The guy who has the dunk of the year is Anthony Davis. Sure, the season started a few days ago, but that still doesn’t mean that it isn’t true. Of all the dunks that have occurred so far, this one by Davis is by far the best.
I just don’t know or will ever know what it feels like dunking on a standard 10ft. hoop let alone have the ability to dunk from anywhere on the court as if Davis was in a reality version of NBA Jam. Must be nice to be able to do that. Certainly looks like Davis is going to dominate this season. He’ll probably be in the top 3 to win the MVP due to the the voters looking to give it to new guys when they can. I think this will be one of those years like last year when Harden won it. Not saying he didn’t deserve it or that Davis won’t deserve it. Just, they try and get new dudes winning it.
Either way, Davis can rest easy tonight knowing that he has the dunk of the year. He can rest easy until that crown gets placed on someone else this weekend or even later tonight. Dunk of the year is a fickle one.
