For those of you who think CTE is no big deal, these football players are being weak about it, they played way tougher back then, and whatever else excuse is out there, I have news for you. Antonio Brown is a walking, talking CTE exhibit. Oh…. ya…. I’m no doctor. It’s not my diagnosis, it’s the world’s diagnosis. The man does senseless thing, one after another. CTE is the only explanation. Let’s start at the beginning of last season.
Antonio Brown’s Big Bad Brother
Alright, so technically Le’Veon is younger. We all know that. However, his maturity level whilst trying to depart the wretched organization that is the Pittsburgh Steelers made him seem like the wiser, more poised man than Antonio Brown has come to portray in himself. Bell chose to sit out last season as part of the Steelers to prove that he was fed up and wanted to move in a new direction. Clearly, this was a lead-by-example scenario in the eyes of Brown, as he didn’t miss a beat.
Almost immediately, Brown no-showed to a meeting. Or a practice. Or something other than a game, who cares. He never revealed why he didn’t show up, but it was kept behind close doors. The organization swept it under the rug like it never happened. Obviously Pittsburgh doesn’t know what they’re doing. It was clear from the beginning of last season that Bell and Brown would not be Steelers once the season was through. I called it a mile away. Brown was always a character, but he never really took it out on the organization until Bell did. Too bad for Brown, he couldn’t figure out how to be respectful about it. That’s where his “little brother” came out.
Antonio Brown Now
Fast forward through the season and all the BS drama the Steelers bestowed upon themselves. Bell signed with New York Jets, and Antonio Brown found himself on the Oakland Raiders. Brown hasn’t played a single down as a Raider, but they are already a match made in heaven. Exhibit A: Brown gets trolled on the internet with a photo of Pittsburgh’s Most Valuable Player from last season, showing JuJu Smith-Schuster. Brown’s response:
So, maybe the man is just trying to protect his legacy, I get it. Maybe Brown has been overshadowed his entire life and he’s sick of it. No cause for concern yet. But wait a minute, here’s where the CTE starts to show up. Not two hours earlier, TWO HOURS EARLIER, Brown puts out the below tweet:
Antonio Brown was trying his best to keep it together. He was telling Pittsburgh fans to keep their emotions to themselves and move on. Except…. this boy couldn’t even take his own advice for 120 minutes. I could understand if he slept on it and was like “Ok, they ain’t gonna quit, I’ll start sounding off”. It still would have looked horrible on his part, but I at least would have understood it. What he did instead, makes absolutely no sense to anyone above a third grade level. Thus, CTE.
Antonio Brown Still Now
Oh, you still think this man is okay in the head? Oh boy, do I have more for you. Obviously, JuJu saw the tweet calling him out for fumbling away the season. TeamJuJu was nothing but respectful toward Brown during their careers together. How can I say with that absolute certainty and fact? Well, they both told us so… JuJu hit Brown with the below subtweet:
That’s it, right? Game over, JuJu wins this one, let’s all take our talents to next season where we can get CTE together. NOPE! Re-enter Antonio Brown who, with his full blown CTE, decides to try to take a shot at JuJu while also taking sides with JuJu while also confusing about the majority of his existing fans. After JuJu’s subtweet, Brown posts a DM (you know, a private message meant to only be shared between two people, that kind of DM) from JuJu back in the day:
Please, oh my goodness, I lose it every time I look at this. This is honest to God JuJu taking the intiative, as a young and upcoming talent, to reach out to a stud in the league for leadership and guidance. How, in any way, does this make JuJu look bad (if you don’t have CTE)?? Because he wanted to reach out to Brown to get better…? Nah, that ain’t it, chief. And then, come to learn, that same man you once thought was a leader is trying to take shots at you now that you’re relevant? Unprovoked? I don’t get it, must be a CTE thing…
The Mic Drop on Ex-Steeler Drama?
On top of all that, Brown is trying to drop the mic in his caption, or so it seems. As if any of us don’t expect you to keep on talking…go ahead and pick that mic back up son. We know you will. Besides, Le’Veon Bell is the one with the mic drop. At least he knows when messages are meant to be private:
James Conner, the man who replaced Bell, shows nothing but respect for his old first-string. The world was letting Le’Veon Bell hear it when he decided to sit out. He was getting more sh*t from fans than Brown was getting for his immaturity throughout the season, I can guarantee you that. Come to find out, Bell was the real one all along. Silently doing what he thought was right by him. The crazy thing is, Bell would have never done himself this humble brag if Brown hadn’t made such a fool of himself. Hard to believe that the man who runs between the tackles is progressing much better in his CTE than the man who runs away from everybody, but such is the world we live in.
**Follow me on twitter. Hockey season is over so I need more people to interact with. I have stupid good takes, like spot on. No joke, I’m right like 50.8% of the time. It’s over halfway so I definitely think this is the gig for me**
